OSB is an engineered timber product mostly from North America although we have manufacturing now in Scotland, Ireland and in Eastern Europe and Netherlands. It is well known in the Offsite MMC Timber Frame Industry and general construction where it has virtually replaced Plywood.
Advantages: it is light, strong, weather-resistant and easy to use. It is extremely stable and can be made with added overlays and ingredient to enhance performance, weatherproofing and insulation.
