I Beams Timber Joists

I Beams or I Joists are well known in the Offsite MMC Timber Frame Industry and are used in joists for floor systems, roof structures and also walls . They generally have a top and bottom timber or LVL chord and a central board of OSB/Plywood or hardboard.

Advantages: they are light and easy to use, extremely stable and can be made to handle longer spans than equivalent sized solid timber joists. They can be made from finger jointed timber allowing up to 12M production runs which can be cut to size to specific projects.

I Beams – Lightweight alternative to Steel, Concrete, and Solid. Extended Spans and easy to use. All supplied to Certified systems and accredited Design criteria.

Widths: 47, 60, 70, 97mm

Lengths: up to 12M (Max 18M)
